Fraser's live set-up for an overdriven/amp
sound consists of:
Line 6 POD - Pre-Amp/Amp Simulator
AER Compact 60 - Acoustic Amplifier In the studio Fraser uses a variety
of valve amps; Sovtek 50 valve head and 4x12 cab',
Fender Bandmaster Combo (60's), Fender Pro Junior.
As a standby Fraser uses a Jerry Donahue
Sessionmaster JD 10 Guitar Amp Emulator manufactured
by British company Award - Session. This will run from
battery and is ideal for outdoor use.
Microphones
Shure SM58
- MicrophoneThe SM58 is simply plugged into the POD then
into the AER combo and
DI'd via a DI box splitter from the POD. For anyone who
likes to travel light, this is the ultimate in portability! He
also has an SM58 Microphone on a stand for a pure
'acoustic' sound and Shure Green Bullet
for occasional use.
Harmonic Solutions twin condenser
mic system for chromatic, occasional use.
